I headcanon Near as non-binary, so I'd like to request the use of they/them pronouns for them.I headcanon that Near uses xe/xem and it/its pronouns alongside they/them.I headcanon that Near doesn't like to be treated like a child, and will show slight but visible discomfort when someone does so.I'm not sure if this last one is a headcanon, due to what Near themself has said before, but I like to think that they would be friends with Mello if they got the chance. They don't like the fact that Mello sees them as a rival.
